If there is no bus service within an hour of the time you wish to travel, or if you would have to
spend more than ninety (90) minutes on the bus to go five (5) miles or less, she will arrange a
direct ACCESS trip for you.
If you are using Connections to get to or from a bus stop, the stops are specially selected to
ensure that, whenever possible, they have amenities like seats and shelters. The stops are
always safe and accessible.

•
An ACCESS trip to or from a bus stop is $2.50 each way
•
The fare for a direct ACCESS trip depends on the distance.
The minimum one-way fare
is $3.15, and the maximum one-way fare is $5.25.
•
You may take one person with you, and that person will pay the same fare as you
•
You will be eligible to pay only half fare on Port Authority
There is no need to carry cash to use this service.
A fare payment system called an electronic purse (ePurse), which works like a debit card, is
used.
